At Tondu United we believe that football is more than just a sport; it’s a way to connect, have fun, and create lasting memories. Our Kick-About sessions are designed to take you back to those carefree days as a youngster when all it took was a simple question, “Fancy a kick about?” We offer a unique opportunity for both men and women to socialise, get fit, and make new friends while reliving the joy of playing football. 

What is Kick-About? 

Kick-About goes beyond being merely a football program; it offers an opportunity to rekindle the genuine, untarnished joy of playing. We have two sessions, one for men and one for women, where you can come together with like-minded individuals, whether you’re an experienced player or a complete beginner. It’s all about having a kick about with friends, old and new, and rekindling the love for the game.

No Age Limit:

Whilst our main football teams cater to children and our Walking Football has set ages, Kick-About welcomes everyone, regardless of age. Whether you're in your 18, 30 or 50+, there's a place for you to enjoy the game.

Escape and Recharge:

We understand the importance of taking a break from the demands of work, daily responsibilities, and the challenges of childcare. It's a precious opportunity to switch off, unwind, and dedicate time to yourself. Many of our members have found solace in the sessions, relishing the chance to escape the stresses of their busy lives and rejuvenate both mentally and physically. It's your moment to rediscover your inner child, enjoy some 'you' time, and make lifelong connections with fellow players who share the same desire for a stress-free escape.

Socialise and Make Friends:

Kick-About is not just about football; it's a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and create lasting friendships. Our sessions are filled with camaraderie and a welcoming atmosphere.

Get Fit:

Staying active is essential for a healthy lifestyle. Kick-About helps you stay in shape while having fun. It's the perfect way to work on your fitness in a friendly and supportive environment. Many of our members enjoy it as an alternative session in their weekly fitness/gym plans.

No Pressure, Just Fun:

There are no competitions or pressure to perform at Kick-About. We emphasise the fun and enjoyment of playing. It's all about rediscovering the childlike thrill of kicking a ball around with friends – the feeling of scoring has never changed!
